Iran Announces Members of Quranic Delegation to Hajj
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Members of Iran’s Quranic delegation to this year’s Hajj were announced.
The delegation, which will leave for Saudi Arabia, starting from Wednesday, August 2, includes several Qaris and Quran memorizers as well as a Tawasheeh and elegy recitation group.
Mehdi Qarasheikhlu, Seyed Mohammad Javad Mousavi Dorechei, Mahmoud Noruzi, Majid Jadidi, Mojtaba Mohammadbeigi, Ebrahim Abdi, and Seyed Abbas Mousavi are the Qaris and memorizers in the delegation.
The Meshkat group from Khuzestan will also company them to hold Quranic and religious programs during Hajj.
Every year Iran sends a groups of Quran activists, known as the Noor (light) Hajj Delegation, to Hajj.
The members of the delegation hold Quranic programs, including Quran recitation sessions for the pilgrims.
