Gathering of Qaris, Quran Memorizers at Imam Ali (AS) Holy Shrine
According to the website of the Astan, Alaa’ Muhsin, the deputy of the center's media section, said that the convention was held for the third year with the participation of more than 80 top students and teachers who have taken part in the "Amir-ol-Qurra” national plan in Iraq.
He added that the program included choral recitation of Quranic verses by a group of the Qaris.
This edition of the national Quranic plan was held at four Quranic schools in Iraq with the participation of students from 10 provinces of the country.
15 Quran students, who successfully passed the first stage of the course, will practice the Quran recitation style of Sheikh Abdul Fattah Sha’Sha’i.
In the next stage of the plan, the students will practice Quran recitations by Mustafa Isma’il, Ahmad Muhammad shabib, Hamdi Al-Zamil and other eminent Qaris.
