According to al-Fajr news website, they were welcomed by Ayad Ahmed al-Shukri, an official with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
They toured different parts of the museum and learned about its activities.
During the visit, Ahmed Patel, the head of the delegation referred to the activities of the British Hajj Mission, saying it was established by the country’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office to provide health and social services and support British Hajj pilgrims during the annual pilgrimage.
Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca that every able-bodied and financially able Muslim is obliged to undertake at least once during their lifetime.
This year, more than 25000 pilgrims from Britain performed Hajj.
The Holy Quran Museum in Medina was established in September 2015.
Since then, over two million people have visited the museum.
