‘Master of Water’ Wins Top Rank in Najaf Int’l Festival
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An animation titled “Sayyed Al-Maa’” (master of water) featuring the courage and bravery of Hazrat Abbas (AS) in the Battle of Karbala (680 A.D.), was selected as the best 3D animation in the 11th edition of Ghadir Media Festival in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq.
According to Al-Kafeel website, the animation has been produced by Al-Joud Center affiliated to the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Section of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine in Karbala.
Ahmad Ma Meitha, the head of the center, said that the animation introduces the bravery of Hazrat Abbas (AS) and his services to Imam Hussein (AS) and his family.
The 11th edition of Ghadir international media festival was organized by Al-Ghadir Satellite channel on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir.
Hundreds of information and technology institutes and mass media from Iraq and some other countries participated in the international event, held from September 14 to 16.
