Resistance Scholars Congress Begins in Beirut
According to Al-Alam news network, personalities and experts from 60 countries are attending the event.
It is being held under the motto of "Uniting for Palestine- Israel Moving Toward Annihilation”.
Participants in the two-day event will discuss ways for supporting the Palestinian people.
Role of resistance in confronting the Zionist regime, latest developments in Palestine and resisting against normalization of ties with Israel are among other topics for discussion at the conference.
A number of religious and political leaders will also address the conference.
In a message to Sheikh Maher Hamoud, the head of the Union of Resistance Scholars, about the conference, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei underlined the need for continuation of resistance against the Zionist regime of Israel.
