Celebration of Maba’ath at Shah Cheragh, Shiraz

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A ceremony was held at the mausoleum of Shah Cheragh in Shiraz, south of Iran, on Friday, to celebrate the feast of Maba’ath, marking the anniversary of the day when Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was called to prophethood.

 

Shah Cheragh is a funerary monument and mosque in Shiraz, housing the tomb of Ahmad and Muhammad, the sons of Imam Musa Kadhim (AS), the seventh Shia Imam.

Shah Cheragh, which literally means (the Shrine of) the lord of the light, is the most important pilgrimage center of Shiraz.
