TEHRAN (IQNA) –  The final examination of a national Quran contest titled “Lessons from Quran” was held in 700 locations across Iran on Monday.

Nearly 100,000 students who had scored high in the previous exams of the contest attended the final one.

The exam featured questions on the contents of a TV program with the same title in which senior cleric Hojat-ol-Islam Mohsen Qara’ati discusses different everyday issues and elaborates on the teachings of the Holy Quran about each issue.

Hojat-ol-Islam Qara’ati was present in one of the schools in Tehran where the exam was held.

In an address, he urged all school students to study religious books and be careful to properly fulfil their religious duties.
