ICRO Presenting Quranic Works at Tehran Int’l Book Fair

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) has displayed a large number of books with religious, Quranic and cultural themes at its booth in the 31st Tehran International Book Fair.

                       

According to the website of the organization, the books include translations of Islamic and Quranic books and works by Imam Khomeini (RA) and Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei into various languages.

The booth will also host a number of forums on themes like the Sacred Defense (Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s) literature, translation of Iranian books in the US, and the necessity for translating works by late Shia scholar Allameh Mohammad Taqi Jafari.

The 31st edition of the Tehran International Book Fair kicked off in the Iranian capital on May 2.

The Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) is hosting the cultural event, which will run until May 12.

Some 2,500 domestic and 600 foreign publishers have attended the book fair.
