TEHRAN (IQNA) – The second edition of a series of religious educational forums on “Quranis life” was organized in New Delhi, India.

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the program was attended by Iranians residing in the capital city, Hojat-ol-Islam Mahdawipur, representative of the Supreme Leader in India, and Iranian officials and students.

It was addressed by Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadreza Saleh, head of Al-Mustafa International University’s branch in India.

He elaborated on some of the educational points and teachings of the verse 135 of Surah Nisaa which says: “O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.”

He stressed that according to the Quranic verse, God orders everyone to observe justice in all aspects of life, hence it is an obligation for all Muslims and a requisite of faith.

Sha’ban Eids and the birthday anniversary of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his glad advent) were also celebrated at the program.
