TEHRAN (IQNA) – The third edition of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak international Holy Quran competition will be held from November 6 to 19 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

According to Al-Ain news website, the organizing committee of Dubai International Holy Quran Award announced that they have communicated with over 106 countries and Muslim communities around the world to nominate their contestants.

Ibrahim Mohamed Bu Melha, adviser to the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and head of DIHQA organizing committee, said that the two previous editions of the competition were received very well.

The competition, supported by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is a major branch of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA).

The first and second editions of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak competition were held with the participation of representatives from 72 and 76 countries respectively.
