Course on ‘Studies of Islam’ Starts in Zimbabwe

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A course on “Studies of Islam” has started at the Faculty of Religions Studies at Zimbabwe University.

 

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Iranian Cultural Center in the African country has cooperated in holding the educational program, which is the second edition of it.

It has been organized based on the cooperation agreement between the International Institute for Islamic Studies in the holy city of Qom and the university.

BA and MA students in different fields of religions studies in the university are required to pass the course.

Morteza Karimi, a member of the institute, has been invited to the university to teach the “Doctrine of Islam” and “Analytical History of Early Period of Islam”.

The university successfully held the first course on studies of Islam last year.
