Dubai Quran Award Honors Inmate Memorizers

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) has honored the inmates of Dubai punitive and correctional institutions who have memorized different parts of the Quran and have had their jail terms commuted.

The honoring ceremony saw the presence of Ibrahim Mohamed Bu Melha, Adviser to the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, GToday reported.

Among those present were Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigations Affairs, Dubai Police, Adviser Hamad Gomaah Al Khallafy, Chief of Dubai Public Prosecution, Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Shamali, Director-General of Dubai Punitive and Correctional Institutions, Ahmed Al Zahid, Head of Media Unit, DIHQA.
