Commemoration of 2009 Pro-Establishment Rallies in Tehran
TEHRAN (IQNA) – People in different cities across Iran People in Iran attended countrywide marches on Sunday to commemorate massive rallies back in 2009 in which the nation reaffirmed allegiance to the Islamic Republic.
The December 30, 2009 rallies ended months of turmoil in the wake of that year’s presidential election.
In Tehran, people marched toward Imam Hussein (AS) square, chanting slogans in support of the Islamic Republic.
