According to Al-Bayan daily, Ali Ivaz, who lives in the Gaza Strip, is eight years old.
He started memorizing the Quran by taking courses at al-Amri mosque in the city of Jabalia north of Gaza City.
Ali began by memorizing one page of the Quran a day by listening to the recitation of the verses.
He increased the number of the pages and at one point, he memorized 16 pages of the Holy Book in one day.
He would also review 45 of the memorized pages every day.
It took him just eight months to learn the entire Quran by heart, setting a record in the Gaza Strip.
He is also one of the youngest Quran memorizers in the coastal enclave.
Quranic activities are very common in the Gaza Strip despite years of aggression and a years-long blockade imposed by the Zionist regime of Israel.
