Winners of Quran Contest for Kids with Disabilities Announced

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The winners of a Holy Quran memorization competition for children with disabilities in Saudi Arabia were revealed.

 

The Prince Sultan bin Salman Contest for Memorization of the Holy Quran concluded its 23rd session at the Disabled Children’s Association (DCA) headquarters.

A total of 2,384 youngsters from throughout the Kingdom and PGCC countries took part in the competition, and the winners’ names were announced at a special presentation ceremony attended by many mothers of the children, according to the Arab News.

Majida Baysar, a DCA board member, thanked the children for “drawing a smile of hope on our faces” with their memory feats. She also expressed her appreciation to the youngsters’ mothers and teachers for promoting patience, awareness, positive thinking, and hope toward building better human beings.
