According to Al-Bayan newspaper, registration for the competition, titled “Sheikh Rashid bin Muhammad Al Maktoum”, will continue until March 14.
It has been planned for five age groups of children and teenagers under the age of 13, teenagers and youths aged13 to 25, youths above 25 years old, and imams of mosques and foreigners residing in the UAE.
Ibrahim Bumilha, advisor to the ruler of Dubai in cultural and human affairs and head of the organizing committee of the competition, said that the Quranic event is an important part of Dubai International Holy Quran Award, which is held with the participation of a large number of Quran memorizers every year.
He added that those willing to attend the competition can register online or submit their application forms to the institute.
