TEHRAN (IQNA) – The children at an evangelical kindergarten in Dusseldorf, Germany, get acquainted with Islamic teachings.


According to the Iranian Cultural Center in Germany, the plan to teach Islamic principles to the children has been designed by the bishop of an evangelical church in the city.

He believes that the children who know about the principles of different religions will better learn live a peaceful life, which is important for the future of the country.

A Muslim preacher and Imam of mosque will explain Islamic concepts, injunctions and rituals to the children at the kindergarten.

Representatives of two great churches in Dusseldorf say Muslims of the region plan to highlight the commonalities between Protestant Christianity and Islamic schools of thought in the educational program.

The plan will be implemented starting from the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan (April).
