Iranians Mark Night of Qadr

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Muslims in Iran on Tuesday night observed the Laylat-ul-Qadr or the Night of Destiny, which is considered the holiest night of the year.

They held vigils until dawn and recited the Holy Quran.

The most important thing of the holy month of Ramadan is the Night of Qadr (Lailatul-Qadr) - the night which is superior to a thousand months.

Lailatul Qadr means the night of destiny, honor and dignity. It is this night in which the first Divine Revelation came to the heart of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
