TEHRAN (IQNA) – Chancellor of Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hossein Mokhtari signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with a number of Indian higher education and research centers.


According to the public relations office of the University of Islamic Denominations, the MoUs, aimed at developing cooperation in academic fields, were signed with the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, Noida International University in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and the Delhi Institute for Social Sciences Research.

They entail cooperation in holding joint conferences and research forums and exchanging students and scholars, among other things.

During his stay in India, Hojat-ol-Islam Mokhtari also addressed an international conference in New Delhi on religious diversity in the Muslim world.
