Forum in Tehran Discusses Palestine, ‘Deal of Century’
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A forum was held here in the Iranian capital on Tuesday to discuss the latest developments regarding the issue of Palestine, including the US’ attempts to sell its so-called “deal of the century” plan.
Palestinian ambassador to Iran Salah al-Zawawi was among those attending the forum, held on the same day a so-called “Peace to Prosperity” workshop opened in Bahrain in which the US seeks to unveil the economic aspects of its “peace plan”.
The Palestinian leadership is boycotting the meeting, leading critics to question the credibility of the event.
The Palestinian Bar Association (PBA) plans to file a lawsuit against participants in the US-led conference in Manama.
