Johannesburg Center Hosts Islam-Christianity Dialogue

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Islamic Center of Johannesburg organized the second interfaith dialogue between Islam and Christianity.

Head of the center Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Abdollah Hosseini told IQNA that a large number of Muslims and Christians attended the event on Saturday.

A Catholic priest in a speech at the program elaborated on the concept of resurrection in Christianity and then answered the attendees’ questions, he said.

He noted that at the first dialogue between Islam and Christianity held at the center in July resurrection in view of Islam was discussed.

The event is planned to be held on a monthly basis.
