--Imam Khomeini, through his Quranic view, noticed and informed the nation about the enemies’ plots.

Ayatollah Ka’abi member of the Assembly of Experts in a talk to IQNA on the occasion of the 18th departure anniversary of Imam Khomeini said that Imam, based on his Quranic view, regarded disunity and discord as a deadly poison for the Islamic system.

“Imam warned that disunity undermines Islam and causes to interrupt Divine blessings. He always reminded that only through unity can the Muslim Ummah achieve progress,”

Ayatollah Ka’abi said.

He noted that one of Imam Khomeini’s main concerns was to unite the nation round the axis of Islamic and Iranian identity.

“Imam believed that the only way to reform the world is through moving in God’s path, and that is what he did. He said that if for one day the Iranian nation stops relying on God and turns their trust to worldly things like money and oil and weapons, it will be the beginning of our defeat,” Ayatollah Ka’abi went on to say.
