First Participation of Mauritania in Iran’s Int’l Quran Contest

--Ahmadu Abdullah Abdat (reciter) and al-Naji Walad Ablal (memorizer) participated as representatives of Mauritania for the first time in the 26th Int’l Quran Contests taking place in Tehran.

The two participants attended the contest, with the cooperation of the Iranian Cultural Center in Tunisia and Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization of Iran. Included among other participants from the continent of Africa were Hissam ibn Noor ud-Din Marzouq (as a reciter) and Qisan ibn Ezzuddin al-Ayeb (as a memorizer) from Tunisia.

The latter group took part in Iran’s Int’l Quran Contest on an invitation of Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization.
