Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will address the ceremony slated to be held in the town of Bint Jubail, Southern Lebanon, via video-conference, Al-Nushra news network reported.
Nasrallah's speech today is considered especially important given the current situation in Lebanon and the end of Michel Suleiman s term as the country's president.
Meanwhile, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in separate messages to Nasrallah and Lebanese Foreign Minister Jubran Bassil extended congratulations to Hezbollah and the Lebanese people on the anniversary of the liberation of Southern Lebanon.
In his messages, Zarif described the victory as a historical epic that reminds everyone of the self-sacrifices of the resistance movement.
The Lebanese resistance movement forced the Zionist regime's army out of southern Lebanon in May 2000.
The liberation laid the groundwork for the triumph of the Lebanese nation in the 33-day war with the Occupying Regime of Israel in 2006.
