Thai Muslims Celebrate Mab’ath

Muslims in different cities of Thailand will celebrate the auspicious occasion of Mab’ath (Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) appointment to prophetic mission).

 Najjariyanzadeh, Iranian cultural attaché in Thailand, told IQNA that various ceremonies will be held in mosques and Husseyniyyahs (religious centers) in different parts of the country to mark the occasion.

He added that Muslims commemorate the auspicious occasion with eulogies, supplications, and other programs.
Najjariyanzadeh said that about 30 mosques in Bangkok and southern cities and provinces of the country such as Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Trang and Phuket and northern parts of Thailand like Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi will host the ceremonies.
The Iranian Cultural Center in Thailand will also celebrate the occasion like previous years.
The center will hold a ceremony on May 29 after the recitation of Komeil supplication. Kamalian, Iranian ambassador to Thailand, Hojat-ol-Islam Karimi and Iranians residing in Thailand will participate at the program.
