Over 156 Million Quran Copies Printed in Iran in 3 Decades

The printing and publication deputy of the Dar-ol-Quran Organization said Iran has printed more than 156 copies of the Holy Quran in the past 28 years.

Ahmad Hajisharif made the remark in a forum featuring the printing of the Quran held at the 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition on Sunday, July 6.  
He said 80 printing houses located in the cities of Tehran, Qom, Isfahan and Mashhad have printed the Quran.
Hajisharif added that 11 calligraphers, 9 Iranians and 2 from other countries, have calligraphed the Quran copies printed in the country.
He underlined that the top priority for all printing houses in printing the Quran should be ensuring quality.
