Morteza Khedmatkar, an official with the Quran and Etrat Deputy of Culture Ministry told IQNA that the deadline for registration in the national exam will expire today.
He said the decision for extending the deadline was made because of the large number of applicants.
Khedmatkar underlined that the deadline will not be extended any more.
According to the official, the examination will be held in 17 categories and that examinees will be given multiple-choice test questions.
He went on to say that more than 56000 individuals have registered for the exam and that the provinces of Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi and Yazd have the highest number of applicants.
