Launching Quranic Deputy in Iran's Ministry of Culture; A Positive Move, Says Ministry Official

Launching Quranic deputy in Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance is a positive move provided that the deputy live up to its objectives , said the Ministry official.

Sayyed Javad Refaee, cultural deputy of central province of Yazd general office of Culture and Islamic guidance, said" in my view, Owqaf organization, Quranic Activities Promotion Center, Golestan-e-Quran bulletin and Islamic Propagation Organization's Quranic activities should be supervised by Quranic deputy of Ministry of Culture and Islamic guidance.

Referring to the duties of the aforementioned deputy, he also asserted that the deputy should undertake management of Quranic issues. In fact, all organizations performing Quranic activities such as Ministry of education, universities, Basij and Hozeh (Islamic Seminary) should be in harmony with the deputy.

Further in his remarks, he mentioned that performing Quranic researches and presenting them in international conferences, supervising Quranic journals and holding Quran exhibitions are among the duties to be undertaken by the aforementioned deputy.
