Over 1400 Hours of Programs Featuring Holy Prophet’s Life Broadcast by IRIB
--During the first half of the current (Iranian) year more than 1400 hours of TV and radio programs featuring the holy prophet’s (PBUH) life and tradition were produced by the IRIB.
According to the press headquarters of the committee for glorifying the holy prophet year, 371 TV programs and 224 radio programs were produced and broadcast by the provincial channels of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Broadcasting.
The provincial TV channels in Ardebil, Semnan and Ilam with production of 45, 44 and 35 hours of programs consecutively were the most active among the IRIB provincial TV channels.
As for radio channels, the IRIB channels in provinces of Hormozgan, Yazd and Mazandaran were the top broadcasters of programs featuring the life and conduct of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) during the first half of this year.
