Quranic Festival for Members of Mosques’ Art & Cultural Centers Concludes

--The third Quranic festival for members of mosques’ art and cultural centers ended on Friday.
The festival, which was held for two days in Qazvin, west of Tehran, included a Quran contest in the categories of Quran memorization, Tarteel (intonational recitation), comprehension, recitation and Azan (call to prayer).

Gholamreza Torabian from Hamedan, Mohammad Motavalli Taher from Mazandaran, Hassan Danesh from Yazd, Kareem Hassan Soleimani from Zanjan, and Javad Rafati from Qazvin won the first title in different categories.

The performances in the contest were evaluated by a jury composed of the country’s prominent Quranic masters including Ali Akbar Malekshahi, Mehdi Bahrololum, Ali Farbin, Mohammad Kazem Naddaf and Gholipoor.

The third Quranic festival for members of mosques’ art and cultural centers was aimed at promoting the Quranic culture in society and encouraging youths to take part in Quranic activities.
