--The Great Quranic Exhibition of Yazd opened in the central city during a ceremony on Thursday.
According to the organizer of the exhibition, Sayyed Khalaf Houtinezhad, the exhibition showcases more than five thousand titles from 100 publishers. “The books have themes related to the Quran, Islamic teachings, Hadith, and world religions,” he said.

He added that 12 software companies from around the country are also presenting their Quranic and religious software products at the exhibition.

“15 stalls, out of 45 stalls in the exhibition, are dedicated to Quranic research studies conducted in Yazd Province,” Houtinezhad stated.

The prayers sections, the holy defense sections, and the art section, which features calligraphy, painting and graphic works by Yazdi artists, are among other sections at the exhibition.

The Great Quranic Exhibition of Yazd will be running through Mehr 10 (October 2) in the city’s Agha Hosseiniyeh (religious center).
