40000 Yazdis Participated in Quran Reciting Sessions Last Year

--40000 people took part in Quran reciting and interpretation sessions as part of the Talavate-Noor Plan during the last Iranian year (ending March 20) in central province of Yazd.
According to the secretariat of Mosques' Cultural Centers, within the Talavate-Noor plan, which was organized and carried out by cultural centers of mosques in Yazd province, 40000 people from all walks of life participated in Quran reciting and interpretation sessions in the year 1386.

Launching four Houses of Light (Quranic centers), holding specialized religious forums to discuss the objectives of the year named as the year of national unity and Islamic solidarity with distinguished Sunni and Shia scholars attending, and organizing a course to train managers of cultural centers of mosques, which was attended by 120 prayer leaders, were among the major achievements of the secretariat of the province's cultural centers of mosques.

The secretariat also set up a booth in Quran exhibition of Yazd province, carrying out recreational programs during the holy month of Ramadan.
