Dar-ol-Quran Center Planned in Europe
--International affairs director of Yazd-based Kowsar Tawasheeh (religious song) Group said that a Dar-ol-Quran center will be established in one of European capitals in near future.
Mojtaba Malek Afzali told IQNA that the center, which will be established by the Kowsar group in cooperation with the Society of European Muslims, is aimed at promotion of Quranic culture and training Qariz(reciters) as well as organizing cultural programs for Muslims from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
He referred to the groups' programs in mosques and Islamic centers in Belgium and France last year, noting that the programs recieved warm welcome.
"We also performed Tawasheeh programs this year in many cities in Germany, France and Belgium," he stated.
Afzali went on to say that one of the major objectives of the Kowsar group is strengthening Sunni-Shiite solidarity, and that for this reason it regularly holds programs in Sunni mosques and Islamic centers.
