Mohammad Kazemeini added that 100 valuable manuscript copies of the holy Quran written in the 5th Hijri century as well as other rare manuscripts are among the data-x-items to be exhibited at the museum.
On display will also be copies of other religions’ holy books including the Torah, Avesta, Zabur, Suhuf and Bible.
“Necessary permissions for establishing the museum have been obtained form Yazd Province’s cultural heritage department and it will be inaugurated later this week on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Imam Sadiq (AS),” Mr. Kazemeini stated.
On the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the museum, a calligraphy exhibition will also be held showcasing calligraphy works by Mahmoud Rahbaran.
