This is according to Ali Reza Sheybani head of Quran, Etrat and prayer office of the province’s education department, who said the programs aim to encourage students to take part in Quranic activities.
“The programs include Quranic sessions, speeches on Quranic themes, Quran competitions, and sending students to the venue of the competition,” he added.
The Quranic sessions will be attended by national and provincial Quran reciters and experts, he went on to say.
The 33rd national Awqaf Quran Competition will kick off in the city of Yazd on Thursday, March 3.
