Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Javad (AS) in Congo

On the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Imam Javad (AS), a mourning ceremony will be held today, October 17, by Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Mosque in Kinshasa, Congo.

According to IQNA’s branch in Africa, Sheikh Isaa Ambaki, Hawza and university lecturer of the country and a graduate student of Al-Mustafa International University said that the program will be held after the evening prayers.
An eminent Qari of the region will recite some verses of the Holy Quran at the beginning of the program and seminary students will perform mourning rituals on the occasion.
He added that the program will be addressed by a number of Shia scholars and intellectuals of the country who will clarify Seerah and moral virtues of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and Imam Javad (AS).
