Tunisia Culture Minister in Iran
Tunisia’s Minister of Culture Mahdi Mabrouk is in Iran heading a cultural-art delegation.
Mr. Mabrouk has travelled to Iran on an invitation from Minister of Culture and Islamci Guidance Dr Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini.
He is set to attend Tunisia’s first cultural week in Tehran and meet with Iranian cultural officials including Dr Hosseini.
The two will discuss ways for development of bilateral ties especially in cultural and art fields.
He also plans to visit the central city of Yazd to attend a ceremony to honor Hassan Danesh, Iranian Quran reciter who won the first rank in Tunisia’s International Quran Recitation and Memorization Competition.
The trip will be made at an invitation by the Friday prayer leader and governor general of Yazd.
