Quranic Figures to Be Honored
It will be the 18th edition of an annual gathering titled “A Lifetime with the Quran”, which is aimed at appreciating the achievements and services of veteran Quran activists who have spent their life to promote the Quranic culture.
The Cultural-Art Organization of Tehran Municipality will hold the event in cooperation with the Quran Culture House.
In Friday’s ceremony, Quran scholar and researcher Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Javad Beheshti, Quran activist Mohammad Badpa, Quran expert Hassan Rabeiyan, Quranic artist Mahmoud Pakniyat, and female Quran activist Forouq Sadat Mousavi Baladeh will be honored.
A number of prominent Qaris, including Amin Pouya and Mehdi Rashtbari, will also recite verses from the Holy Book at the program.
