Veteran Quran Activists Honored
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A ceremony was held in Tehran on Friday to honor five veteran Quran activists of the city.
It was the 18th edition of an annual gathering titled “A Lifetime with the Quran”, which is aimed at appreciating the achievements and services of veteran Quran activists who have spent their life to promote the Quranic culture.
The Cultural-Art Organization of Tehran Municipality organized the event in cooperation with the Quran Culture House.
Quran scholar and researcher Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Javad Beheshti, Quran activist Mohammad Badpa, Quran expert Hassan Rabeiyan, Quranic artist Mahmoud Pakniyat, and female Quran activist Forouq Sadat Mousavi Baladeh were honored at the event.
