Iran to Host Conference on Health in Islamic Countries

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The fourth edition of an international conference on health in Islamic countries will be held here in the Iranian capital.

 

The Homa Hotel will host the conference on October 9-11, Majid Zanguei, secretary general of the Center for Promotion of Health Tourism in Islamic Countries, told IQNA.

He said Afghanistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, India, South Africa, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq and Turkey are among the countries that will attend the three-day event.

Its main themes include health tourism, health pharmaceuticals and equipment, traditional medicine and herbal products, and sports tourism, he added.

According to Zangui, a forum on cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan in the field of health tourism and a program to introduce investment opportunities in this field will be held on the sidelines of the conference.
