Speaking to IQNA, Yusuf Anvari, the institute’s international affairs institute, said that in a recent visit to the Arab country, he saw great interest among Shia Muslims there in memorizing the Quran.
Therefore, he added, the institute plans to open Quran memorization schools in Beirut and southern Lebanon.
Anvari also said that during the trip to Lebanon, he visited the Ayatollah Kurani religious center and the Lebanese Quranic Society.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Anvari noted that people from different countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the US, India, Indonesia, and Kuwait have taken the Quranic courses of the institute and memorized the Holy Book.
