Special Course for Top Qaris Starts in Iran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s Supreme Quran Council started the second edition of a special course for prominent Qaris of the country

The course is aimed at elevating the level of Qaris’ Quranic knowledge and recitation skills, according to the council.

Those passing the examination at the end of the course will receive grade one Quran recitation certificates.

Twenty top Qaris have taken the course, according to the organizers.

The first session was held on Thursday, with a number of senior members of the council in attendance.

A Quranic workshop was also held after the session.
