Quran Students Honored in Peshawar

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The women students of “Minhaj-ul-Quran” Institute in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan were honored at a ceremony held by the Iranian Cultural Center in Peshawar.

 

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the ceremony marked the conclusion of a Quranic course held by the institute and honored those who graduated.

The ceremony was held with the participation of Mehran Eskandarian, head of the center, Rubina Moin, head of the Women Section of the institute in Peshawar, and Asima Murtaza, Fatemeh Afzal and Zartaj Bukhari, Quran teachers of the institute.

Addressing the program, Moin thanked the Iranian center for contributing to the development of Quranic culture and providing the institute with necessary equipment for holding educational Quranic courses and scholarly seminars.

Eskandarian in his speech stressed the importance of Quranic education and acting upon Quranic teachings.

He said that it is an honor for the Iranian center to cooperate in dissemination of Quranic sciences and teaching the Quran in the region.
