Quran Competitions Referee Training Course Underway in Baghdad
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A course for training Quran competition referees based on new international rules and regulations is underway at Baghdad University in Iraq.
One of the instructors of the specialized course was Rafi’ Al-Ameri, top Iraqi Quran reciter and director of the National Quran Center affiliated to Iraqi Shias Endowments Office.
He went to the university’s Ibn Roshd Faculty of Human sciences on December 16 to explain and clarify regulations on judgment in Quran competitions based on the most recent international rules.
Thirty academic teachers and Quran researchers have taken the course, which has been organized by the Iraqi National Quran Center.
