Leader Urges Efforts to Promote Jihad, Resistance Mentality
Speaking in a meeting Tuesday with members of a committee in charge of organizing a congress to commemorate the martyrs of the southern province of Bushehr, Ayatollah Khamenei added that the only way for salvation is continuing the path of martyrs.
Today, thanks to the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian nation is standing against world powers, the Leader said, adding that the jihad and resistance should be institutionalized in such a way that it will become the certain path of future generations.
Ayatollah Khamenei also hailed Bushehr as a province with so many prominent martyrs and said efforts ought to be made to familiarize the youth with the martyrs.
The Leader Said Bushehr has a history of braveries and self-sacrifices made by martyrs like Rais Ali Delvari (1882-1915, an Iranian independence fighter and anti-British colonialism activist,) who powerfully stood against foreign aggressions.
