According to the Dar-ol-Quran’s website, Quran learners from Iraq and 16 other countries have taken the online courses.
They are from countries like Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Australia, Nigeria, Yemen, Pakistan, the US and Syria, al-Hafiz Muntadhar al-Mansouri, head of a committee supervising the Quranic programs of the Astan said.
He added that a total of 1,560 boys and girls have taken the courses in two age groups of 9 to 11 and 12 to 15.
The programs are being held online due to the restrictions introduced to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
