Al-Azhar Holding Quranic, Oratory Competitions
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Egypt’s Al-Azhar Islamic Center has organized competitions on Quran recitation and memorization and oratory skills.
According to gate.aharam website, the competitions began on Monday under the supervision of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb.
They are aimed at enhancing Quranic skills and Arabic and oratory skills of the participants.
In the oratory contest, the contender deliver a spontaneous speech to showcase their mastery over the Arabic language and oratory skills as well as their self-confidence.
A number of university scholars serve in the competitions’ panels of judges.
