TEHRAN (IQNA) – A radio program discussing justice in view of the Quran and Hadith was aired on the day of Tasua, the 9th of Muharram (August 29), on Latenu radio station in Accra, Ghana.

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the program was produced in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in the West African country.

It was attended by Sheikh Muhammad Awal, deputy of the imam of the eastern province, and Sheikh Ishaq Salih, a Shia scholar of the region.

Speaking at the program, Sheikh Ishaq Salih expressed condolences to all followers of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions.

He said there is no doubt that there are countless lessons in the movement of the Imam (AS) and his uprising against tyranny and injustice.

Referring to the verse 40 of Surah An-Nisa, the cleric added, “Allah does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom's weight”.

He said one who believes in God should avoid injustice and it was the mission of all divine messengers to stand against injustice.

Sheikh Ishaq concluded that the uprising of Imam Hussein (AS) aimed to ensure that the true image of Islam should be presented to the world and that satanic plots against Muslim Ummah will be foiled.
