Expatriate Students Quran Contest Kicks Off in Egypt

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran competition for foreign students studying in Egypt began in the Arab country on Monday.

 

The competition has been organized by Al-Azhar Islamic Center under the supervision of Nahla al-Saeedi, head of the center’s Educational Department.

The participants compete in recitation and memorization of the Quran, according to El-Balad News.

A number of prominent Quran experts have formed the competition’s panel of judges.

It is aimed at encouraging expatriate students to learn and recite the Holy Quran.
