Al-Mustafa Int’l Publication Center Attends China Int'l Book Fair

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Al-Mustafa International Publication and Translation Center is taking part at the 27th Beijing International Book Fair, which kicked off on December 5.

 

 

The center has presented 34 titles of its publications on Islamic sciences and humanities on the website of the exhibition.

The books are in Persian, English, French and Chinese. 

‘Smart Exhibition’ is the motto of this edition of the five-day book fair, which has been held online due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Considered as the world’s second largest book fair in terms of scale and influence, the annual event has been attracting publishing professionals worldwide since 1986.

For the 2020 session, 2,600 publishers, 100 literary agencies and 500 libraries from 97 countries are registered and presenting their works in this exhibition. Also, more than 300,000 books have been uploaded on the exhibition website and 100 events and meetings are planned.

The exhibition aims to provide new opportunities in publishing industry, introduce new works and methods in this field and develop relations and interactions in this respect.

Iran Cultural Fairs Institute, Al-Huda Publications, Al-Mustafa Society, Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, Tamas Literary Agency, Pol Literary and Translation Agency, Dayereye Mina (Blue Circle) Literary Agency, TUTI Books (a division at Fatemi Publishing Company which is solely dedicated to publishing books for children and young adults), Nimaj Publications and Candle & Fog Publishing are the Iranian institutes and publications showcasing their books at the online book fair.
